BRAZILIAN BEAT: Canada Dance Congress by Guiomar Campbell

The city of Toronto will be experiencing  the First Annual Brazilian Beat Congress which will showcase Brazilian dance in Toronto including several local artists and teachers.
The event is organized by Brazil Dance World and will take place at York University, Keele Campus.

An entire weekend where you can explore the movements and music of Brazilian dances through a series of workshops, dance parties, competition and wonderful performances.

The First Annual Brazilian Beat Congress will showcase Brazilian dance in Toronto. It will take place at the beautiful York University, Keele Campus, in Toronto, Canada, on April 30th and May 1st, 2011. Pre-party on April 29th, at El Rancho Restaurant & Night Club.

The Congress is open to anyone who would like to learn and experience the different styles of Brazilian Dance. Brazilian Beat will focus on the Brazilian Social dance styles, and will offer workshops given by world renowned instructors and nightly breathtaking performances from international Brazilian dance companies in Samba no Pé, Samba de Gafieira, Zouk, Lambada, Forró, Brazilian Bolero, Soltinho, Afro-Brazilian, Axé and Capoeira.
